MANDATORY REGISTRATION FOR STUDENT VISA

The Study in India (SII) portal is a one-stop platform that facilitates admission procedures, course applications, and visa formalities for international students wishing to pursue Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Short-term, or Research-based academic programs in India. It serves as a seamless digital gateway to India’s Higher Education ecosystem.

All foreign students who wish to study in India are required to register themselves with their details on the portal studyinindia.gov.in. Upon successful registration, a unique ID (SII-ID) is generated in the form of Year-Country ISD Code-Unique Identifier Code (example for Iraq, like 26-964-0000123456). This ID is mandatory for applying for an Indian Student Visa through the Indian Visa Portal.  Kindly note that applications for the Student Visas will be processed by the Embassy only after verification of the mandatory student ID and the offer letter uploaded by the University/college.

التسجيل الإلزامي للحصول على تأشيرة طالب

بوابة "الدراسة في الهند" (SII) هي منصة شاملة تُسهّل إجراءات القبول، وتقديم طلبات الالتحاق بالدورات الدراسية، وإجراءات الحصول على التأشيرة للطلاب الدوليين الراغبين في الالتحاق ببرامج البكالوريوس، أو الدراسات العليا، أو البرامج قصيرة الأجل، أو البرامج البحثية في الهند. وتُعدّ هذه البوابة بمثابة بوابة رقمية سلسة إلى منظومة التعليم العالي في الهند.

يُطلب من جميع الطلاب الأجانب الراغبين في الدراسة في الهند تسجيل بياناتهم على بوابةstudyinindia.gov.in.  عد إتمام التسجيل بنجاح، يتم إنشاء مُعرّف فريد (SII-ID) على شكل السنة - رمز الدولة الدولي - رمز التعريف الفريد (مثال للعراق: 26-964-0000123456). هذا المُعرّف إلزامي للتقدم بطلب للحصول على تأشيرة طالب هندية عبر بوابة التأشيرات الهندية. يُرجى العلم بأن طلبات تأشيرات الطلاب ستُعالَج من قِبَل السفارة فقط بعد التحقق من هوية الطالب الإلزامية وخطاب القبول المُحمَّل من الجامعة/الكلية.
