This consignment is for use by the survivors of the 1988 chemical bomb attacks, who are still in need of pulmonary, dermatological, and ophthalmological treatment for injuries caused by the attack. The Deputy Minister of Health of the Kurdistan Regional Government, along with the Mayor and acting Governor of Halabja, were also present at the ceremony. Earlier that day, Ambassador visited the Halabja Monument to pay tribute to the victims of the attacks. Ambassador also wrote in the visitor’s book and was given a detailed tour of the Monument and Museum by the Mayor and acting Governor of Halabja.
