On 13 August, on the verge of his tenure in Iraq, Ambassador Prashant Pise paid a farewell call on. H.E. Mr. Nouri Kamel Al-Maliki, former Prime Minister of Iraq and thanked H.E. for the support and cooperation extended leading to further strengthening of warm and friendly relations between India and Iraq.

Ambassador Prashant Pise met H.E. Dr. Hamed Al Jubori, Head of Asia and Australia Department (MOFA) on 30 July 2024. During the meeting, issues of common interest were discussed.

On the occasion of the 10th International Day of Yoga, Ambassador Prashant Pise interacted with the Iraqi media and outlined yoga and its benefits to the health and well-being of individuals.
Embassy of India celebrated the 10th International Day of Yoga in Baghdad with the theme 'Yoga for Self and Society' in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Ambassador Prashant Pise met with Mr. Ahmed Sami Al-Mamouri, Executive Director of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue in Najaf on June 12. Ambassador of India shed light on the recent developments in India, especially the elections and its results, and what India plans to accomplish during the next 25 years in preparation for its celebration of the centenary of its Independence.
A special yoga workshop was organised by the Embassy for the Iraqi cyclist team in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports on 11th June".
