An eminent Gandhian philosopher, Dr. Shobhana Radhakrishna delivered a lecture on ‘Gandhian philosophy and women’s empowerment’ at the American University of Iraq, Baghdad (AUIB) on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Her visit to Baghdad has been sponsored by ICCR under the aegis of celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and commemoration of 70th anniversary of India-Iraq friendship treaty. President of AUIB Dr. Michael Mulnix, faculty members and students joined the event and interacted with Dr. Shobhana Radhakrishna. She also visited the Gandhi statue in the AUIB campus and offered her tributes to Mahatma Gandhi.

الباحثة المعروفة الدكتورة شوبانا راداكريشنا المتخصصة بفلسفة غاندي ألقت محاضرة حول "فلسفة غاندي وتمكين المرأة" في الجامعة الأمريكية في العراق ، بغداد (AUIB) بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للمرأة. زيارتها إلى بغداد كانت برعاية ICCR و ضمن فعاليات احتفالات أزادي كا امريت ماهوتساف وإحياء للذكرى السبعين لمعاهدة الصداقة الهندية العراقية. وانضم إلى الحدث رئيس AUIB الدكتور مايكل مولنيكس وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب وتفاعلوا مع الدكتورة Shobhana Radhakrishna. كما زارت تمثال غاندي في حرم AUIB وقدمت تحية إلى المهاتما غاندي.
